MovieMart platform role
MovieMart is a film-product discovery, comparison and affiliate referral platform. MovieMart does not operate checkout, does not become the seller of record, does not process customer payment for partner products, does not arrange delivery, and does not handle returns or warranty service for partner purchases.
Any purchase contract is completed on the selected partner or retailer website. Final price, delivery, taxes, stock, returns, warranty, product condition and customer support are controlled by the partner retailer.
Transactional emails
MovieMart may send service emails such as account verification, password reset, security notifications, legal request receipts, support replies, vendor application updates, wishlist/alert messages and system notices.
Marketing and newsletters
Newsletter, promotional or editorial emails should be sent only where there is a lawful basis or valid consent/soft opt-in as applicable. Users should be able to unsubscribe from marketing emails without losing essential account messages.
Vendor outreach
Vendor outreach should identify MovieMart, explain the business purpose, avoid misleading claims and respect opt-out or suppression requests.
Suppression lists
MovieMart may retain limited suppression records to avoid sending marketing to people who opted out or objected.
